Our Great Conversation

Over the last few months, we have had an amazing series of conversations and debates with friends, family, and even strangers. Incredibly, the range of opinions has been diverse and the tone of discussion, even when we’ve disagreed, has been balanced, positive, and optimistic. This kind of engagement in this tone is all the more impressive as our country faces such a deep and serious set of worries.

This dialogue is inspiring. It’s what we all hope America can be… a place led by The People, by us all.

Did you notice how many different voices you’ve heard in the past few months and how much the range of opinions has grown? Have you noticed how much easier it has become to find information from all sides of an issue to help inform your own opinion? Have you noticed that even call in shows that used to seem so one-sided have drawn a wider range of discussion from audience member participation?

As media and our conversations get both more integrated and more diverse, let’s keep this movement going. We are all excited to continue this open dialogue together.
